About Northeast

Who We Are

Basically, we are a group of disciples of Christ who believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Lord and Savior of the world. Along with that, our view of the Bible is central to who we are—we believe that the Bible is the word of God and the only authority for the faith and practice of his people. We are committed to learning, following, and teaching Jesus and his truth as revealed in the Scriptures.

As believers in Christ in an age of tradition and religious division, we seek to be simply and only Christians. This is no arrogant claim of perfection, but only of our humble commitment to strive to be the church you read about in the Bible. We believe that returning to God’s plan for the church is pleasing to God and a key way to bring about unity among believers. We invite you to join us in this journey.

We believe God’s love and grace in Jesus is incredibly amazing and life-changing. Everyone desperately needs Jesus and the salvation and hope he gives. Believers also need each other in order to experience God’s love and to be built up in the faith. Thus, we come together for worship and to encourage one another to be faithful to God and to his eternal redemptive purposes.

We urge you to continue on the path of seeking God. We also invite you to attend our worship services, and to allow us the opportunity to meet your spiritual needs.

Service Times

When We Meet Together

Sunday
  • Bible School at 9:30 a.m.

  • Worship at 10:30 a.m. & 5:00 p.m.

(Both Sunday services are live-streamed on our Facebook page.)

During this time we have classes for all ages, along with a staffed nursery for those children under the age of 2 years. At Northeast we believe in our Bible School. This ministry serves our need to know more of God. It encourages adults and children alike to search for truth. The classes are biblically based and seek to transform our learners into faithful followers of Christ.

The Northeast church loves children and enjoys their presence. They are precious to the Lord and to us. We consider them a stewardship and feel responsible to do our part in forming their faith and helping them experience the love of Christ. We want the “next generation” to know the Lord (Psalms 78:1-7). This is why we provide Bible classes for all ages and is also why we treat them as our own. Be assured of our concern for the safety and wellbeing of your children.

Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m. We also offer a class for kids during the worship hour.

Our Vision

& Our Dream

Our vision is for each member to have a Biblical, Christlike Worldview & Lifestyle:

  • Think like Jesus and have his attitudes

  • Believe what Jesus believes

  • Love what Jesus loves, hate what he hates

  • Have Jesus' values, priorities, and goals

  • View God, people, and life as Jesus did

  • Behave and live as Jesus did

In short, we seek to know and have the heart of God.

(Mark 1:17, Col. 1:28, Eph. 4:22-24, Phil. 2:5, 1 John 2:3-6)

Our dream for this church is that we know God in such a way that it expresses itself through:

  • Being faithful to the teachings of God's word

  • A fellowship of Biblical love, acceptance, care, encouragement, and service

  • Evangelism and teaching

  • Love, mercy, integrity, and justice in daily living

  • Seeking God through worship, prayer, and studying God's word

  • Taking personal responsibility for our choices and for implementing these principles

(Acts 2:42-47)
